THE COMING OF THE NEW DANCING COMPETITION IN TANZANIA: CHEZA TANZANIA.
Music May Day Tanzania in collaboration with Tripod Media Company Ltd will be bringing Tanzanians a new dancing competition, “Cheza Tanzania”. The auditions will be held at Angel’s Park Namanga, Msasani on the 25th and 26th of July at 10am. These competitions will include street dances and dances in the hip hop genre but will not limit any creativity. The competition will encompass 20 young Tanzanian boys and girls aged between 16 and 27 years who can dance.
Among other prizes, they will compete for the only two chances to go for music and dancing training here in Tanzania for two weeks and for another two weeks in the Netherlands where they will also perform two shows. The competition will be aired through TBC1 twice a week (a fresh show and a repeat) from mid August to October 18th where the finals will be aired live. More over the contestants will be given weekly seminars on HIV/AIDS and stigmatization and they in return will be given tasks to educate their fellow youth.
